new year, new york

started the new year with a visit to new york,amazing place full of energy spent 12 days in freezing conditions -18 at one stage didnt spoil the fun though,now back to the work blog, while i was there the phone kept ringing normally at 5.30am because they are 5 hours behind uk people looking for repairs to be done, proudly i did acheive to reinstate 1 client with hot water by video chat with him taking the laptop to the problem, if i decide to stay in new york in the future this might be the way forward who knows ?

under the weather

been under the weather this week coughing & sneezing hoping to be back to normal and crack on with some work next week,missed some social events too not to happy about that have to make up for it next w/end.

good week/greatw/end

had a steady and very fullfilling week at work fitted a new central heating system for a senior citizen she relocated to her sons home for three days so we did not cause her to much disruption. and at the weekend met up with some lovely people at my friends 50th birthday who i have not seen for many years.looking forward to whats in store for this week.

busy & stressful week

had a really busy and stressful week, 2 work coleages on vacation and deadlines to meet but as normal it gets done and all the clients are happy. hopefully can chill out over the w/end.

I had the great good pleasure of playing Pub Host - AKA Guv-nah - at the Globe whilst the owners were on vacation in August. Gotta love your local... it was nice to see so many folks from my pub days show up. A good time was had by all.
